From Principal of conservation of Energy in absence of non-conservative forces,

Ui+ Ki= Uf+ Kf

⇒ Ui- Uf= Kf - Ki

⇒ Loss in Potential Energy = Gain in Kinetic Energy

⇒ Gain in Kinetic Energy = m.g. l .cos 30° = √3mgl/2
